The Pramerica Spirit of Community Awards is a school-level youth recognition programme for volunteer community service. The objective is to encourage the efforts of school children currently engaged in voluntary community/ social service and hold them up as role models for all young Indians.
 
 
There are lots of opportunities to make an important difference in the lives of others. Perhaps the volunteer work done by the honourees of the PFI Spirit of Community Awards will give you some ideas about what you can do to make a difference to the world around you.
 
 
Have you made a positive difference in your society through your personal community service efforts? If yes, we would like to salute your spirit of volunteerism. The Pramerica Spirit of Community Awards recognizes all young heroes who have made meaningful contributions to their communities, and honours them with medallions, cash prizes and an opportunity to represent India on an international platform in Washington, D.C. The School Representative Council (SRC) is a faculty council in every school that will act as the ambassador for the Pramerica Spirit of Community Awards. The SRC will steer this programme in their school, encourage students to involve themselves in community service activities and overall, drive students' participation in the programme.
